Stopped for breakfast on our way north. Love the rustic feel and good old fashioned service. Great food with generous portions

Service a little slow which is unusual. Food was very good.

Great service as usual in spite of virus precautions

Came in at 2:45 waited 20 minutes for our waitress to come take our order. She was And more interested in scratch offs and cross words. it was dead . As far as the food the bacon cheeseburger was like shoe leather had to slather it in ketchup. And it was still horrible. My son ordered a pepperoni pizza and we couldn't even find it let alone see the pepperoni. They also charge 5.00 extra for the Fry's which is ridiculous for the amount they charge for worse then a McDonald's burger. I will never go back. Damn gordan Ramsey needs to go there and show there people how to cook. The waitress never came back to check to see how things were and my husband had to go and get the check and get boxes. Worse experience ever so disappointed

Worst food I have ever had. Way to salty, no other flavor. Burned hamburger. How old is that chili. I got 3 bites in and ran for the bathroom sick as hell. I was feeling great prior. Husband had fish, said fish sticks tasted better. Waitress never filled our drinks. Left no tip. Paid bill. Never ever again will we be back. If you want a real good burger and fish.... Go to the Wheel Inn on Fridays. Food is awesome at that Bar. #GordonRamsay you need to check this place out. Teach their cooks how to cook.

Waited 45 minutes for breakfast before our order was started, left. Would have been nice if the waitress had told us when we ordered that it was going to be such a long wait and so backed up. I had never been there was looking forward to something new, probably won't go back.

Wide selection. Good prices. Service was good, not great. Green beans were very good. Strawberries tasted fresh. Eggs Benedict was delicious. According to other members of the group, the mashed potatoes were not good, and the wrap was only so-so. No one in the group tried any of the pies that they're famous for, so can't comment on that. All-in-all, 4 out of 5 stars.

My food came up there was 1 other patron besides myself and 2 waitresses working. My food sat up there well over 5 mins and i finally got there attention by saying excuse me. They then brought to me and i started to eat the bacon onion and cheese omlet and it was wrong. It had ham on it instead of the bacon. I left. Wasnt waiting for more slip shod service. Not first time they made something else than what i ordered. GET IT RITE FOLKS

Since the take over of the new owners it seems the performance of the staff is poor. I was in the restaurant on 8-8-2020 and ordered the club sandwich with fries instead of chips and my meal came back with chips. I told the waitress i ordered fries with my meal and she said that she didnt hear me say fries (she wasnt even the one who took my order). The company with me also said their meals werent up to par. Had to ask for soda refills. I dont think I'm returning as i have been a customer many times before.

I can't even give it an honest 1 star. The service was the only thing I can say was good. The waitress did such a good job but even that couldn't make up for the pile of unidentifiable stuff I had on my plate. After seeing it sit on the order up window forever, it could have stayed there. Cold eggs, hashbrowns etc. Yuck. Sorry but won't be back.

Had steamed cod, and it was delicious!! Waitress was very attentive. Cook tried to send my dish out with beef gravy on my mashed taters, but I asked for chicken gravy, and the waitress caught it and sent it back. And she also passed my test of bringing a glass of milk out WITH my meal. If I ever get back here, I will go there again, and hope I get the same waitress.

Food is very good we've had pulled pork brisket boasted chicken Friday perch fish fry and pie all good at a good price value. Waitresses are really really good

I will say I am bias seeing I have family who works here & I grew up eating here. In roughly 30 years, the great food or friendly staff has not changed.

Homemade pizzas, award winning pies, fun waitresses too. After 3 or 4 visits I have always been very pleased!

Liked the new look with the shelves moved to north wall.lets natural light in and opens it up.

The pie, especially fruit pies, are just fantastic. Worth going out of our way for on our trips to and from the U.P. The rest of the food is just ok.

Still a great place to eat and buy pies. It's a bummer that the highway bypass has cut business down. The staff is still friendly like they've known you forever. Breakfast, lunch or dinner, you gotta love Wayne's down home restaurant!!!!

Crazy good pies, good old fashioned sit down restaurant with good food.

Great food and friendly staff!! We went here before and were basically ignored the whole time we were there and only went back because we heard it was under new management and they are now open later. This time was a completely different environment. Everyone was friendly, we were asked about the meal and if we needed anything else multiple times. As you can see, the food looked darn near picture perfect and it also tasted great! We'll definitely be back soon!

Delicious food, and friendly staff! I came with 3 kids, and was really impressed with the buffet. The employees were all helpful and attentive. I look forward to coming back.

I have been going there on and off for a while . This weekend I went there with my daughter for breakfast and they charged $4.00 for a cup of coffee and it wasn't that good . What do they think there are starbucks ? You can go to green bay to a good breakfast and pay half the price

we ate at this restaurant on friday and the meal was great . bought a caramel apple pie and have to say this was the best pie i ever had in my life . our company couldn't rave enough about how good it was . the pie crust was home made wish you were closer to kewaskum wi. will for sure be coming back would of given you 10 but only went to 5

Outstanding restaurant, wish the new high way had to by-pas it. Gr8 place to eat, and yhere pies are out of bounds! They have a lemon meringue pie that is sky scraper high meringue on it, a must stop. Take the turn off to Ocon follow the road sighs.

Extremely homey and welcoming. Your typical Diner fair food but the pies are absolutely delicious. They have the Blue Ribbon flat they have one hung with pride and if you're just driving through Oconto it is definitely Z place to stop for a piece of pie and a cup of coffee. They also have a salad bar which is very nice. Not a ton of Toys R Us on it but not a lot of choices is what we need sometimes.
